Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible guide and rule of our faith and practice, and authoritative Word of God.

We believe in the internal omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and immutable true God. The Father as the creator of all things, the Son of the Father as the redeemer of all things, The Holy Spirit as the revealer of all things.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that man cannot save himself, salvation is by God’s grace alone; and is received through sincere repentance with a wholehearted faith in Jesus Christ, He who cleanses us from all sin as stated in 1 John 1:7.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his virgin birth, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and the blessed hope of personal visible future return to this earth to receive to himself, his blood bought church, that it may be with him forever.

We believe that water baptism by immersion, in the name of the father, son, and Holy Spirit as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ, and that it is not a saving ordinance, but an outward sign of an inward work.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

We believe in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper as a type of the body and shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, and as an ordinance showing forth the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord, and a looking forward to the marriage supper of the Lamb.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives utterance, and that this is not a saving ordinance but a gift from God.

We believe in the nine Gifts of the Spirit for the edification of the Saints and the up-building of the Church of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing is the power of God to heal the sick and afflicted of the human body in answer to believing prayer, and is provided in the atonement.

We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

We believe in the second coming of Christ, that he will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then the redeemed shall be caught up together to meet him in the air.

We believe in a final judgment where all that are wicked will stand before God to be made accountable what they had done on Earth.

We believe that Hell is a literal place for outer darkness, where all unbelievers will be cast into, and those who have rejected the love of Jesus Christ, whose names are not written in the Lamb’s book of life.

We believe that Heaven is the habitation of the living God, where Christ has gone to prepare a place for all his children, where they shall dwell eternally in his love.

We believe that the great commission of our Lord Christ to carry the gospel message to the entire world is literal, imperative, and binding today; and that it is this supreme privilege and duty of the church of Jesus Christ to stress the cause of salvation to everyone that will hear. Further,

We believe that the very life and strength of the church depends on its whole-hearted sacrifice for, and support of the ministry of Jesus Christ.
